EDMONTON -- The Edmonton Oilers have a tough game ahead of them tonight. The Boston Bruins are in town and are looking to continue their great season. Tonight is the first game of a four game road trip - and the first half of a back-to-back.

Much has been said of Evan Bouchard lately. The 24-year-old defenseman currently has 53 points in 52 Games. If he continues his point pace he will have the sixth best offensive season for an Oilers defenseman ever.
Ironically enough, the only defender to have better sessions is currently Bouchard's coach - Paul Coffey.
Despite the heights of his offensive game this year, Connor McDavid feels like he could give more. Specifically, he doesn't feel like the blueliner takes enough shots, "I think he should shoot it more, I think he's got more chances to shoot it."
Shortly after this he went on to praise Bouchard and his shot calling it 'the best he's ever seen'.
Heading into tonight's game Bouchard has 142 shots - averaging 2.73 shots per game. While that's definitely good, he's not lighting the ice on fire with the number of shots he fires to the net.
Either way, tonight's game is a great opportunity for Bouchard and the Oilers to take every shot they can to earn their 34th win this season.
