With injuries striking, rookie Danila Yurov steps into a massive first-line center role, centering a star-studded Minnesota Wild trio. Can he seize this moment?

ST. PAUL, Minn - The Minnesota Wild held a practice on Tuesday to prepare for its game against the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday.

With Ryan Hartman and Marco Rossi out, the Wild will turn to rookie Danila Yurov to be their first line center between Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello.

Yurov, 21, picked up an assist in the Wild's last game against the Vegas Golden Knights and when Hartman got injured, Yurov took a few shifts with Kaprizov and Zuccarello.

This will be a huge opportunity for Yurov to show himself as a rookie. We'll see what he does with it.
