On Oct. 26, the Philadelphia Flyers returned prospect Jett Luchanko to the Guelph Storm. This was after the 2024 first-round pick made the NHL roster out of training camp and played in four games with the Flyers.
With Luchanko not receiving consistent playing time with the Flyers, it made sense that they sent the 2024 first-round pick back to junior. He now has a far more significant role with the Storm, which should help his overall development.
Jett LuchankoLuchanko is now starting to heat up with the Storm. In their latest matchup against the Brantford Bulldogs, the promising prospect scored an excellent goal on the breakaway. Luchanko showed great confidence with the puck and sniped it home.
Luchanko now has one goal and three points in his first four games with the Storm this season. In 68 games with the OHL club last campaign, he had 20 goals and 74 points.
