Things are looking up for the Philadelphia Flyers' defense, as Nick Seeler and Jamie Drysdale, who have both been sidelined with injuries, were back on the ice for morning skate before the Flyers' Mar. 26 game against the New York Rangers.

Both Seeler and Drysdale were spotted participating in drills during the Flyers' morning skate session at Madison Square Garden, with both players wearing regular contact jerseys instead of the yellow non-contact ones typically given to players that are returning from injury.

Drysdale got knocked out of playing contention after sustaining an upper body injury against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Feb. 25.

Seeler sustained a lower body injury after blocking a shot against the St. Louis Blues on Mar. 4.

Flyers fans weren't given a specific timeline for how long both defensemen would be out, but seeing them traveling with the team and fully participating in morning skate drills is an extremely positive indicator of where they are in their recovery.

With nine games left to play, it is still unclear as to whether or not either player will be cleared to play by the Flyers' last game of the regular season, a home game against the Washington Capitals on April 16.
