The St. Louis Blues will be hoping to take another step forward next season after a successful 2024-25 campaign. For this to occur, they are going to need some of their promising younger players to hit new levels.

Because of this, let's look at two Blues players who have the potential to break out in 2024-25 now.

    Jimmy Snuggerud

It is hard not to feel excitement about Blues top prospect Jimmy Snuggerud heading into next season. The 21-year-old forward signed his entry-level deal with the Blues during the final stages of this season and showed good promise after joining the NHL squad. In seven regular-season games with St. Louis, he had one goal and four points. He then followed that up with two goals and four points in seven playoff games for the Blues.

Snuggerud demonstrated his offensive potential at the collegiate level during his three-year stint with the University of Minnesota. This included this campaign, as he set career highs with 24 goals, 27 assists, and 51 points in 40 contests. With all of this, don't be surprised if the 2022 first-round pick becomes a key forward for the Blues next season.

    Zack Bolduc

Zack Bolduc is another young Blues forward who could hit a new level next season for the Blues. The 22-year-old impressed this campaign with the Central Division club, posting 19 goals, 36 points, 108 hits, and a plus-20 rating in 72 games. This is after he had five goals and four assists in 25 contests with the Blues in 2023-24.

Bolduc has the skill to become a very impactful for the Blues, and it would not be surprising in the slightest if his offense improved again in 2025-26, now that he is more adjusted to the NHL level.
