The Lightning will be without one of their top players against the Blue Jackets.

While speaking to reporters, including Gabby Shirley, Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper shared that Nick Paul will not play against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Cooper also noted that Paul will be reevaluated when the club returns to Tampa Bay on Friday (Nov. 22).
This is certainly tough news for the Lightning, as Paul has been magnificent for them this season. In 17 games, the 6-foot-4 forward has five goals, 13 points, 19 hits, and a plus-2 rating. With numbers like these, Paul is on pace to have the best offensive season of his career.

It will be fascinating to see how the Lightning adjust to not having Paul in the lineup against Columbus. Here's to hoping that the key forward does not need to miss much time from here.
