With 20 games to go, the Vancouver Canucks have put themselves in a fantastic position. With 83 points on the season, they lead the Pacific Division and are set to secure a playoff spot for the first time since 2020. With plenty still to play for, here is a look ahead at the final 20 games of the 2023-24 season.

    Canucks Remaining Schedule

Between now and Apr. 18, the Canucks are going to see a lot of the Pacific Division. Of the 20 games, 11 are against divisional opponents, with the Canucks scheduled to face both the L.A. Kings and Vegas Golden Knights three times. While Vancouver does own a 9-6 record against their division this season, these will be viewed as must-win games if the Canucks have their sights on a Pacific Division title.

Vancouver also has a few games set against potential Stanley Cup contenders from the Central Division. They play twice against the Winnipeg Jets, including the season finale, and once each against the Colorado Avalanche and Dallas Stars. With all three battling for the Central Division crown and top spot in the West, the Canucks will be challenged and must ensure they bring their "A" game to show that they can compete with the top teams in the NHL.

As for the remaining games, Vancouver plays seven more times against teams that may be fighting for lottery positions rather than playoff spots. The most notable are two games against the Anaheim Ducks and Arizona Coyotes, who, while still have a mathematical chance at making the postseason, will most likely be sellers at the deadline. While they may seem like guarantee wins on paper, the Canucks must stay consistent if they want to rack up more points and build momentum heading into the playoffs.

One good thing for Vancouver is that their travel will be minimal for the rest of the season. After a three-game road trip to start March, they have a nine-game homestand scheduled and don't leave Vancouver until Apr. 2. With a 20-6-3 record at home this season; the hope is they can finish the season strong at Rogers Arena and continue that play into the playoffs.

The Canucks final 20 games present many challenges but also plenty of opportunities. Vancouver will get to test themselves against some of the best in the league while continuing their pursuit of their first 100-point season in almost a decade. Expect plenty of exciting hockey as the Canucks wrap up what could be one of their best regular seasons in franchise history.
