The Vancouver Canucks were spectacular as they defeated the Edmonton Oilers 3-2 in Game 5. Vancouver received standout efforts from their entire lineup, with J.T. Miller, Quinn Hughes and Phil Di Giuseppe leading the way. Here is a look at the Canucks three stars from Game 5.

    1st Star: J.T. Miller

Once again, J.T. Miller delivered when Vancouver needed him most. On top of scoring the game-winner, Miller filled the stat sheet in Game 5, finishing the night with four shots, three hits and going 14 for 21 in the faceoff dot. Holding Connor McDavid to zero points for the second time this series, Miller led by example and created an iconic moment in Canucks history.

    2nd Star: Quinn Hughes

Game 5 was arguably Quinn Hughes' best game of the postseason. While he didn't record any points, Vancouver's captain had four shots and three blocks in 25 minutes of ice time. He was dynamic with the puck on his stick and a massive reason why the Canucks spent the majority of the night in the Oilers zone.

    3rd Star: Phil Di Giuseppe

Returning to the lineup after the birth of his son, Phil Di Giuseppe was a rock star. He scored the game-tying goal in the second period while finishing the night with three shots and four hits. Tonight, Di Giuseppe proved that dad strength is real, as he played a pivotal role in Vancouver's win.
