Despite being outshot 45-18, the Vancouver Canucks found a way to hold on and win Game 3 over the Edmonton Oilers 4-3. It was a full team effort, with Artūrs Šilovs, Tyler Myers and Elias Lindholm stepping up in the victory. Here is a look at why these three were the Canucks three stars from Game 3.

    First Star: Artūrs Šilovs

Šilovs is the obvious choice for the game's first star. He stopped 42 of the 45 shots he faced, which included 21 in the third period. Šilovs continues to be Vancouver's MVP this postseason and delivered yet another incredible performance en route to his fourth win of the playoffs.

    Second Star: Tyler Myers

Game 3 may have been Tyler Myers' best game in a Canucks uniform. Myers led all Vancouver players in ice time at 22:56, which included 4:52 on the penalty kill. As for his stat line, he finished with an assist, seven hits and four blocked shots. Overall, Myers made life difficult for the Oilers as he wasn't afraid to play a physical brand of hockey or put his body on the line throughout the game.

    Third Star: Elias Lindholm

Scoring twice on the power play, Lindholm had a significant impact on the game. On top of his scoring, he had three hits, blocked two shots and went 14 for 28 in the faceoff dot. One of the players tasked with defending the lead over the final minute of the third, Lindholm, stepped up and was a force on both the power play and the penalty kill.
