Arturs Silovs will start game 4 for the Vancouver Canucks due to an injury to Casey DeSmith.
Already down No. 1 goalie Thatcher Demko, the Canucks injury woes continue as DeSmith misses this afternoon's game. Head coach Rick Tocchet was non-committal when asked if DeSmith would start today.
Tocchet said the lineup has a lineup decision to make, and Rick Dhaliwal reports that this refers to the starting goalie.
Dhaliwal reported that DeSmith is dealing with a lower-body injury. The status of his injury is controversial, as reports suggest he's played through worse injuries. The team is being cautious, and there is an expectation that DeSmith could play in game 5.
