The Vegas Golden Knights announced that they have recalled Grigori Denisenko from the Henderson Silver Knights.
They have also assigned Jakub Demek to the Silver Knights. Demek did not play in any NHL games after being called up. Demek has five goals and 13 points in 44 AHL games this season.
Denisenko has played in four NHL games this season but has yet to register a point. In 47 games with the Silver Knights, he has 14 goals and 40 points. Denisenko was the 15th overall pick in the 2018 NHL draft by the Florida Panthers. The Golden Knights claimed Denisenko off of waivers back in October.
Denisenko is a highly skilled winger who has struggled to find a way to make an impact at the NHL level. The 23-year-old has found a bit of consistent production at the AHL level and is now looking for another opportunity at the NHL level.
