
The Four Broncos Memorial Trophy is handed out to the WHL’s Player of the Year.
The WHL has announced the six finalists for the 2025-26 Four Broncos Memorial Trophy. The award is presented to the WHL's Player of the Year, and for the first time, will feature three players from the same team as finalists. Here are the six nominees.
Eastern Conference:
Bryce Pickford- Medicine Hat Tigers
- 55 GP, 45 G, 38 A, 83 P
- First among defensemen in goals
- Second among defensemen in points
Liam Ruck- Medicine Hat Tigers
- 68 GP, 45 G, 59 A, 104 P
- Second in WHL for goals
- Second in WHL for points
Markus Ruck- Medicine Hat Tigers
- 68 GP, 21 G, 87 A, 108 P
- First in WHL for assists
- First in WHL for points
Western Conference
JP Hurlbert- Kamloops Blazers
- 68 GP, 42 G, 55 A, 97 P
- First among rookies in points
- Fourth in WHL for points
Tij Iginla- Kelowna Rockets
- 48 GP, 41 G, 49 A, 90 P
- Sixth in WHL for points
- First in WHL for points per game at 1.88
Cameron Schmidt, Seattle Thunderbirds
- 72 GP, 51 G, 49 A, 100 P
- First in WHL for goals
- Third in WHL for points
