Welcome to this edition of the WHL's mid-term NHL draft rankings. This five-part series breaks down the top 25 WHLers eligible for the 2024 NHL Draft. Here is a look at prospects six through ten.

6. Adam Jecho, C, Edmonton Oil Kings, 6'5", 201 lbs

GP: 34 G: 13 A: 17 P: 30

Adam Jecho has had no problem adjusting to life in the WHL. He can play a physical game if needed and has had success in front of the net screening goaltenders this season. A player with an incredible shot, he continues to be a problem for defenders across the league.

7. Andrew Basha, LW, Medicine Hat Tigers, 5'11", 184 lbs

GP: 44 G: 20 A: 43 P: 63

Andrew Basha is an excellent skater who loves to have the puck on his stick. He is often the first player in on the forecheck, and once he gets the puck, can hit teammates with tape-to-tape passes in scoring positions. Whether on the power play or at even strength, he is a dangerous player who can make teams pay in multiple ways in the offensive zone.

8. Colton Roberts, D, Vancouver Giants, 6'4", 198 lbs

GP: 48 G: 7 A: 16 P: 23

Colton Roberts really stood out at the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game. He finished with two primary assists and was able to show that he can affect the game at both ends of the ice. If he can continue to develop the way he has over the last few months, he could find himself as a first-rounder in June.

9. Tanner Howe, LW, Regina Pats, 5'10", 182 lbs

GP: 49 G: 23 A: 35 P: 58

A versatile forward who plays all three zones, Tanner Howe is living up to the hype this season. He has embraced the captaincy in Regina and continues to produce despite a rebuilding roster. From his playmaking and goal-scoring in the offensive zone to the little things like playing physical along the wall, he is leading by example and showing why he should be a first-rounder this year.

10. Charlie Elick, D, Brandon Wheat Kings, 6'3", 200 lbs

GP: 48 G: 4 A: 18 P: 22

Charlie Elick is arguably the best defensive defenceman available out of the WHL. Thanks to his physicality, he can separate players from the puck and isn't afraid to lead the rush through the neutral zone. Players need to ensure they keep their heads up around him, as he is not afraid to throw massive hits along the boards and in open ice.
