The Boston Bruins have made their first training camp roster cut, as defenseman Loke Johansson has been returned to the QMJHL's Moncton Wildcats.
Johansson, 18, was selected by the Bruins with the 186th overall pick of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-3 defenseman appeared in 33 games last season with AIK's junior team in Sweden, posting five goals and 13 points. He also played in 19 games for AIK's pro team, recording one assist and a plus-1 rating.
Johansson is now set to play his first QMJHL season with the Wildcats. It will be interesting to see what kind of season he puts together for the club. He is certainly a Bruins prospect to watch from here.
