This Bruins goalie will be the club’s starter against Utah.

The Boston Bruins are back on the ice tonight (Nov. 21) to face off against the Utah Hockey Club. This is a massive contest, as it is Joe Sacco’s first game as the club’s head coach. The Bruins will aim to turn things around against Utah after losing each of their last three games.
We now know which Bruins goalie will be between the pipes against Utah, as Sacco shared that Joonas Korpisalo will be the starter.
Seeing the Bruins go with Korpisalo against Utah is very understandable. Jeremy Swayman had a disastrous performance in his last start against the Columbus Blue Jackets, as he allowed five goals on 28 shots. This was after he let in seven goals against the Dallas Stars.

Korpisalo has had a .903 save percentage or better in each of his last three starts, so he has been trending in the right direction. This includes a 20-save shutout against the Philadelphia Flyers on Nov. 2. He will now look to stay solid against Utah and help Boston get a much-needed win.
