This former Bruins forward had a big moment with his new team.
Jake DeBrusk left the Boston Bruins this past off-season when he signed a seven-year, $38.5 million contract with the Vancouver Canucks. In his first nine games with his new team, the 2015 first-round pick had four assists.
Overall, DeBrusk has had mixed results with the Canucks thus far. However, he had a big moment in his 10th game of the year, which was the Canucks' most recent matchup against the San Jose Sharks.
During the third period of the contest, DeBrusk scored his first goal as a Canuck to give Vancouver a 2-1 lead. While San Jose would tie the game up later, Canucks forward Pius Suter scored the game-winner shortly after.
DeBrusk's first goal as a Canuck was a true beauty, as he sniped it top-shelf past Sharks goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood.
Bruins fans know very well that DeBrusk can score, as he had 138 goals and 266 points in 465 games with the Original Six club. Now, he has his first in Vancouver.
