The Wild can clinch a playoff spot tonight without even hitting the ice. See what specific results are needed for Minnesota's postseason ticket.

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Wild  is back home for a one-off before going on the road. The Wild do not play tonight but could still clinch a playoff spot.

What needs to happen is simple.

The St. Louis Blues need to beat the Los Angeles Kings in any fashion or the Anaheim Ducks need to beat the San Jose Sharks in regulation.

Minnesota can clinch with a win on Thursday against the Vancouver Canucks if they do not tonight.

Some positive news though, Jared Spurgeon was back on the ice for practice on Tuesday and was again on Wednesday. He will play on Thursday.
