This former Tampa Bay Lightning forward will be missing a good chunk of time but not as much as expected.

Last week, former Tampa Bay Lightning forward Anthony Duclair suffered a scary injury. The skilled winger needed help off of the ice after falling awkwardly during a scoring chance.

Now, an update about how long Duclair will be out has been announced, and it is less than ideal but also could have been worse.

The Islanders announced that Duclair will be out for the next four to six weeks. This means he is set to miss a good amount of time. However, it initially seemed like it could have been much worse for the winger.

Here's to hoping that Duclair has a speedy recovery, and that the former Bolt suffers no setbacks along the way.
