The Vancouver Canucks have signed forward Danton Heinen to a two-year contract worth $4.5 million. The Langley, B.C.-born forward will turn 29 before the season and had 36 points in 74 games last season. Heinen's contract will carry an AAV of $2.25 million and keep him in Vancouver until 2026.
In 2023-24, Heinen had 17 goals in 74 games while averaging 14:28 of ice time. Heinen also added 83 hits while registering 33 takeaways. A middle-six forward, Heinen should help the Canucks with their depth scoring next season.
