
Jake DeBrusk has spent his entire seven-year career with the Boston Bruins.

The Vancouver Canucks made a splash in free agent, signing winger Jake DeBrusk to a seven-year contract worth $38.5 million. DeBrusk, who will turn 28 in October, had 40 points in 80 games with the Boston Bruins last season. The contract carries an AVV of $5.5 million and will keep DeBrusk in Vancouver until 2031.
During the 2023-24 season, DeBrusk scored 19 goals and recorded 107 hits while averaging 16:50 of ice time. DeBrusk added five goals and 11 points in 13 playoff games while also recording 53 hits. DeBrusk, a left-shot left winger, is a candidate to play on Elias Pettersson's wing next season.
