Vancouver Canucks defenseman Nikita Zadorov was fined $5,000 for cross-checking Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid.
The cross-check occurred at the final horn of the third period. The Canucks had just hung on to win 4-3 and gain a 2-1 series lead behind Arturs Silovs' incredible 42-save performance. Carson Soucy was also involved in the altercation.
Zadorov had an eventful game as earlier in the second period, he hit Oilers forward Evander Kane into the bench and was given a two-minute penalty for roughing.
