Former Edmonton Oilers forward and Hockey Night In Canada analyst Luke Gazdic threw some shots at Vancouver Canucks fans during an appearance on a podcast.

It is safe to say Luke Gazdic is not making friends in Vancouver. While appearing on the Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk podcast, the former NHLer and current Hockey Night in Canada analyst had some harsh words about Vancouver Canucks fans. During his rant, Gazdic not only takes aim at Canucks fans but also the team, claiming the Edmonton Oilers "dusted" Vancouver in their second-round series, which was decided by one goal in Game 7.

On the podcast, Gazdic, who had eight points and averaged 6:35 of ice time over his 147-game NHL career, said, "Canucks Twitter, you are an absolute joke, your team's a joke, you're a bunch of losers." Gazdic also said he hopes fans in Vancouver enjoy watching the Oilers in the Stanley Cup Final on television as well as watching him on Hockey Night in Canada. According to Gazdic, his rant was in response to Canucks fans flooding his social media with mentions and what he calls " the most garbage, gibberish trash he has ever seen."

Gazdic's comments come on the heels of a national debate on whether or not the rest of Canada should cheer for Edmonton in the Stanley Cup Final. While some in Vancouver believe it is patriotic to cheer on the Oilers, others argue that cheering for a division rival is out of the question. Based on Gazdic's comments, though, it may make it easier for Canucks fans to cheer for the Florida Panthers over the next couple of weeks, knowing exactly how those that cheer for Edmonton feel about Vancouver's fans and their team.
