    On Saturday, the NHL announced the results of the 2024 Selke Trophy, with three Vancouver Canucks receiving votes. J.T. Miller led the way for the Canucks, finishing 15th with a point total of 28. As for Vancouver's other two players, Conor Garland ranked tied for 23rd with seven points, while Elias Pettersson had six points, which ranked 26th. 

    This year's winner was Florida Panthers Aleksander Barkov, who took home his second career Selke Trophy. The top three was rounded out by Jordan Staal of the Carolina Hurricanes and Austin Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Two former Canucks also received votes, with Jason Dickinson finishing 12th and Nic Dowd ranking tied for 30th. 

    For Miller, this is the fourth time he has received Selke votes, but the highest he has ever finished in the rankings. As for Pettersson, this is the second straight season he has received votes, finishing seventh in 2022-23. Lastly, this is the first time Garland has received votes for the Selke Trophy.
