Although it isn't confirmed yet, being the first off the ice for morning skate indicates that he will get the start. Calvin Pickard has started the last two games and has played well. Skinner is the Oilers No. 1 goalie and has been all season.
In his eight starts during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Skinner owns a 5-3 record with a .877 save % and 3.22 GAA.
Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch looks to be making more changes to his lineup. Adam Henrique could play after being out with an injury, and Corey Perry projects to be out of the lineup.
The Canucks will go with Arturs Silovs in goal and will look to close out the Oilers in six games. If the Canucks win tonight, they will face the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference Final.
