2024 WHL Final Preview: Portland Winterhawks vs Moose Jaw Warriors

2024 WHL Final Preview: Portland Winterhawks vs Moose Jaw Warriors

    - 2024 WHL Final Preview: Portland Winterhawks vs Moose Jaw Warriors- 2024 WHL Final Preview: Portland Winterhawks vs Moose Jaw Warriors

After an exciting few weeks, the 2024 WHL Final is set, with the Portland Winterhawks taking on the Moose Jaw Warriors. These two teams haven't met since late February when the Warriors defeated the Winterhawks 4-3 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This matchup will feature two of the top-scoring teams from the regular season going head to head in what should be an exciting series.

Starting with the Winterhawks, they have been one of the most consistent teams all season. Portland has only lost twice in the playoffs and enter the WHL Final with a goal differential of +25. It won't be an easy series, but if Winterhawks stars can keep producing as they have, Portland could be off to the Memorial Cup for the first time since 2013.

As for Moose Jaw, they are stacked with talent. Jagger Firkus was just named WHL Player of the Year, while Denton Mateychuk took home the WHL's Defenceman of the Year. Looking for their first-ever berth in the Memorial Cup, Moose Jaw's offence should cause problems for the Winterhawks all series.

    Prediction: Portland in six
