For the second consecutive night, a team secured their spot in the WHL Final thanks to a double overtime goal. This time, it was the Moose Jaw Warriors who will take on the Portland Winterhawks for a chance to represent the WHL at the 2024 Memorial Cup. Here is a recap of the action from May 7.

Lynden Lakovic etched his name into Warriors history, scoring the series-winning goal less than a minute into the second overtime. It was the straight game Lakovic scored in overtime and his fourth game-winner of the postseason. As mentioned, Moose Jaw will now play the Winterhawks in the 2024 WHL Final, with Game 1 scheduled for Friday night in Portland.
