All three second-round series wrapped up on Friday night.

The WHL's Western and Eastern Final are now set as the remaining three series finished up on Friday. In the West, Prince George will face off against Portland, while Saskatoon will take on Moose Jaw in the East. Here is a recap of all the action from April 19. 

Moose Jaw Warriors 4, Swift Current Broncos 2
Series: Moose Jaw Wins 4-2

The Moose Jaw Warriors punched their ticket to the second round with a 4-2 victory over the Swift Current Broncos. Jagger Firkus put the Warriors on his back, scoring a hat trick which included the series winner. Moose Jaw will now get a week off before starting their Eastern Conference Final on Friday against the Saskatoon Blades.

Portland Winterhawks 5, Everett Silvertips 0
Series: Portland Wins 4-0

The Portland Winterhawks remained perfect in the 2024 playoffs, sweeping the Everett Silvertips in their second-round matchup. James Stefan was fantastic in a 5-0 Game 4 shutout win, recording a goal, an assist and ten shots, while Jan Špunar made 27 saves in the victory. Portland will now face the Prince George Cougars in the Western Final and will look to advance to their first WHL Final since 2014. 

Prince George Cougars 6, Kelowna Rockets 3
Series: Prince George Wins 4-1

The Cougars exploded for five goals in the second en route to a 6-3 win over the Kelowna Rockets. Leading the way for Prince George was Zac Funk, who scored a hat trick, and Riley Heidt, who finished the game with two goals and two assists. The Cougars now move on to the Western Conference Final, where they will have a home-ice advantage against the Winterhawks.
