Portland and Prince George battled it out in the only game of the night.

Monday night saw only one game as the Portland Winterhawks and Prince George Cougars faced off in Game 3. In the end, it was the Winterhawks who were victorious and were able to take a 2-1 series lead. Here is a recap of all the action from April 29.

Series: Portland Leads 2-1

It was the Marcus Nguyen show on Monday night as the Portland forward scored a hat trick in a 4-1 Winterhawks win. Nate Danielson also stepped up in a big way with three assists, while Jan Špunar finished with 30 saves while also recording an assist on Portland's third goal of the night. After being shutout in the first game of the series, the Winterhawks have outscored the Cougars 9-4 in the last two games and will look for the series stranglehold when these two teams meet up on Wednesday night.
