Czechia was back in action on Monday as they faced off against Kazakhstan at the 2024 IIHF U18 Championship. Despite a strong effort, Czechia fell 4-3 in overtime, handing Kazakhstan their first-ever win at the tournament. Here is a look at three WHLers who had standout performances on April 29.
Adam Jecho- Edmonton Oil Kings/Czechia
Adam Jecho once again found the back of the net for Czechia and is now on a two-game goal streak. The Edmonton Oil Kings forward also went three for six in the faceoff dot while leading with five shots in over 21 minutes of ice time. He continues to be one of Czechia's best players and currently leads the team with two goals in the tournament.
Adam Titlbach- Vancouver Giants/Czechia
Playing beside Jecho is Adam Titlbach, who also had a strong game for Czechia. The Vancouver Giants had an assist in just over 21 minutes of ice time and finished the game with a plus/minus rating of +2. Looking to boost his profile ahead of the 2024 NHL Draft, Titilbach has once again shown he can deliver while representing Czechia.
