
The Prince George Cougars walked away with a win in Game 5 on Thursday night.

There was only one game on the schedule Thursday night, with the Prince George Cougars absolutely dominating in Game 5. While the Cougars still trail 3-2, the win allowed them to bring the series back to Prince George as they fight to stay alive in the WHL Playoffs. Here is a recap of all the action from May 2.

Series: Portland Leads 3-2
With their 6-1 win, the Cougars became the first team this postseason to beat the Portland Winterhawks at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum. It was a full team effort with standout performances from Koehn Ziemmer, who had two goals and an assist, and Ondrej Becher, who had a goal and two assists. As for Joshua Ravensbergen, he rebounded in a big way, stopping in the win.
