Jake Sloan has played his entire career with the Tri-City Americans, recording 168 points in 203 regular season games.

The Tri-City Americans have named forward Jake Sloan as their captain for the 2024-25 season. Sloan, who is entering his final WHL season, takes over from Alex Serraglio, who will be playing at the University of British Columbia next season. Sloan led the team in points last season with 70 while also wearing an "A" for the first in his WHL career.
In a statement, GM Bob Tory wrote, "Jake will be entering his fifth season with the Americans and epitomizes everything we are looking for in a captain. A leader on the ice, Jake has an even greater impact off it. His commitment to the community, his professional and humble demeanour, how he interacts with his teammates, the office staff and fans sets him apart. We are excited for Jake and looking forward to a successful 2024-25 season."
