Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery sent this forward a big message.

Morgan Geekie was a huge surprise for the Boston Bruins last season. The 6-foot-3 forward broke out in a big way for Boston, setting new career highs with 17 goals, 22 assists, and 39 points. He was expected to take another step forward in a top-six role for the Bruins this season, but he has instead struggled immensely thus far.
Geekie has just one assist to go along with a minus-4 rating in his first eight games this season. This is immensely underwhelming, especially when noting that he has played on Boston's second line for multiple games.

After Monday's practice (Oct. 28), Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery was asked about what Geekie must do to replicate last season's form. In response, Montgomery gave a brief yet big answer: "Play better."
Let's see how Geekie responds to Montgomery's message from here. Clearly, the Strathclair, Manitoba native is due for a big bounce-back game.
