While speaking with reporters, New Jersey Devils head coach Travis Green shared some unfortunate news about former Boston Bruins forward Curtis Lazar and his recently suffered injury.
Here's what the Devils' bench boss said about Lazar: "He's not great. I don't know if we'll see Lazar for the rest of the regular season."
Lazar, 29, left the Devils' contest against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday (April 6) in the second period due to an upper-body injury.

This is such tough news to hear about Lazar. The British Columbia native has had a career year in 2023-24, posting seven goals and a career-high 25 points in 71 games. Along with that, he has made an impact with his physicality, recording 180 hits.
Due to his strong season, Lazar emerged as a critical part of the Devils' lineup, and it's a shame that his campaign may be ending on such a sour note.
In 87 games over two seasons with the Bruins, Lazar had 10 goals, 20 points, and 221 hits.
