This former Boston Bruins forward is available for the taking on waivers.

NHL teams are continuing to trim their rosters, as 14 players were placed on waivers today (Oct. 5). One of the players who hit the waiver wire just so happens to be a former Boston Bruins fan favorite: Chris Wagner.
The Colorado Avalanche placed Wagner on waivers. If he clears waivers, he will join the Avalanche's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Colorado Eagles.
Wagner, 33, appeared in 13 games last season for the Avalanche, posting one goal, one assist, and 30 hits. He also played in 21 games for the Eagles, recording eight goals, 14 points, and a plus-8 rating.
Before the 2023-24 campaign, Wagner spent the previous five seasons with the Bruins organization. Over that time, the Walpole, Massachusetts native became a fan favorite because of his gritty style of play and fearlessness.

Wagner appeared in 186 games with the Bruins, where he had 20 goals, 34 points, and 531 hits.
