The Boston Bruins are playing one of the NHL's best teams tonight (April 9) in the Carolina Hurricanes. The Canes are right with the Bruins at the top portion of the Eastern Conference, and a big reason for it is their strong forward group.
One of their top players, Andrei Svechnikov, has been particularly impressive this campaign, posting 18 goals and 47 points in his first 56 games of the year leading up to this contest.
However, Svechnikov has now scored his 19th of the season against the Bruins, and it was a real beauty.

Svechnikov, 24, beat Bruins star goalie Jeremy Swayman with a Michigan goal. While the officials did not see the puck go in, the media room in Toronto caught it. Svechnikov, however, knew it went in immediately.
The Michigan is always a nifty move to see, but it's safe to say that the Bruins and their fans were not happy about Svechnikov beating Swayman with it.
