ST. PAUL, Minn - The Minnesota Wild (38-16-11) is back in action tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers (30-23-11).
Tonight marks Brink's first game against his old team where he played 201 career games with.
"I mean, definitely a little emotional probably," Brink said on playing the Flyers. "But it probably won't be the last time I'll play them. I've got a lot of good buddies over there. The organization treated me great for three years. So I'm thankful for my time there, but just focused on playing here now."
He just scored in his first home game with the Wild.
It came after he missed some time earlier in the game with an upper-body injury after going hard into the boards.
Wild head coach John Hynes said Brink will be a game time decision tonight with an upper-body injury. He came into the locker room after the game with a taped shoulder. So, a fair assumption would be a shoulder injury.
After the game, Brink said it wasn't the first time this injury had happened.
"Yeah, I'm fine," he said. "It's not the first time it's happened."
Anyways, he will be a game-time decision tonight.
