ST. PAUL, Minn - The injury bug has hit the Wild hard recently. Zach Bogosian and Nico Sturm have been out for a long time. Mats Zuccarello just returned after missing the first month of the season.
Vladimir Tarasenko and Marco Rossi have missed the last two games with injuries and now Ryan Hartman has been added to the list.
Sturm, Bogosian, and Tarasenko all practiced on Wednesday but Tarasenko did leave early. Wild head coach John Hynes said that both Sturm and Bogosian are still weeks away from returning but it was good for them to get on the ice.
Hartman, 31, got hurt in the Vegas Golden Knights game with a lower-body injury. Hynes says it isn't super serious but he is still listed as week-to-week.
When Rossi went down with an injury, Hartman was given the chance to be the first-line center. Since he just got hurt, the opportunity will now be given to rookie Danila Yurov.
