The Boston Bruins shared some big news regarding Jeremy Swayman.

The Boston Bruins are back on the ice tonight (Oct. 10) against the Montreal Canadiens. The Bruins will look to turn things around after their poor season-opener against the Florida Panthers.
The Bruins have announced some massive news regarding the contest, sharing that star goalie Jeremy Swayman will be Boston's starter.
This is big news, as this will be Swayman's first start since landing his eight-year, $66 million contract with the Bruins. The Anchorage, Alaska native will look to start his new deal off on the right foot and get the Bruins their first win of the season.

Swayman, 25, appeared in 44 games last season with the Bruins, recording a 25-10-8 record, a 2.53 goals-against average (GAA), and a .916 save percentage (SV%). In 12 post-season games for the Bruins in 2023-24, he had a .933 SV% and a 2.15 GAA.
