The Boston Bruins need this forward to get things back on track.
Elias Lindholm's first few games with the Boston Bruins were excellent. The 29-year-old center recorded two goals and five points in his first three games with the Original Six club.
However, Lindholm, much like the Bruins in general, has cooled off immensely after his outstanding start. Over his last four games, the 6-foot-1 forward has zero points and a minus-4 rating. During that stretch, the Bruins have had a 1-2-1 record.
As the Bruins' new first-line center, Lindholm is an incredibly important forward in their lineup. If Boston hopes to turn things around and succeed, they will need players like Lindholm to play at their best. Thus, it is essential for the 2013 first-round pick to regain his very early-season form.
Given how strongly Lindholm started the campaign, there is reason to believe he can bounce back for the Bruins. We will now need to wait and see if he can have a big response against the Dallas Stars on Thursday (Oct. 24) from here.
