Boston Bruins star goalie Jeremy Swayman has a big-time goal after landing his eight-year contract.

After multiple months of tough negotiations, the Boston Bruins finally signed Jeremy Swayman to an eight-year, $66 million contract. With this, he will now be the Bruins' starter for several years to come.
When speaking to reporters after getting his new contract, Swayman made it abundantly clear that he had one massive goal to accomplish during it.
Here is what Swayman said on the matter:
"The motivation is a Stanley Cup. That's all I care about. The end goal is to win a Stanley Cup, and I believe that this is a group that can do it and have shots at it for many years."
Hearing that Swayman is confident that the Bruins can win the Stanley Cup is encouraging. It is understandable, as they have the potential to be competitive for multiple years.
In addition to locking up their star goalie long-term, the Bruins have players like Charlie McAvoy, David Pastrnak, Elias Lindholm, Hampus Lindholm, Pavel Zacha, Brandon Carlo, and Nikita Zadorov all signed for multiple more years.

It will be interesting to see if Swayman will achieve his top goal before this contract expires from here.
