The Vancouver Canucks are tied with four other teams for the tenth-best odds to capture the Stanley Cup at the end of the 2024-25 season.
Just hours after the Florida Panthers captured their first Stanley Cup in franchise history, betting sites have released odds on which team will hoist the Cup in 2025. According to BETMGM, Florida is the favourite at 10.00, followed by the Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars and Edmonton Oilers, who are tied for second at 11.00. As for the Vancouver Canucks, betters do not have to go far down the list as they are tied for tenth-best odds at 21.00.
The Canucks are tied with the Boston Bruins, L.A. Kings and Tampa Bay Lightning to take home the Stanley Cup next season. As for representing the West in the Final, Vancouver is tied with L.A. and the Winnipeg Jets at 11.00. Betters can also wager on which team the Canucks will beat in the Stanley Cup Final, with the lowest odds being the Panthers at 101.00.
As for the 2024-25 NHL Awards, there are a number of Vancouver's players near the top of the list. For the Hart Trophy, Quinn Hughes leads the way at 51.00, while Elias Pettersson is not too back at 67.00. As for the Norris Trophy, Hughes is tied for second with Adam Fox at 7.00, while Thatcher Demko is tied for fourth with Ilya Sorokin at 8.00. Hughes and Demko will be in Vegas this week, as they are both finalists for these awards this season.
